Summer has really started and that means we can once again enjoy the most delicious barbecue recipes. Whether you are at home or enjoying yourself at a campsite, with the barbecue recipes from this blog you can put a true feast on the table in no time.

Dish #1 The Rib Eye Cheeseburger

Ingredients:
600 grams of Ribeye
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 onion
1 cabbage lettuce
4 slices of cheddar
8 pieces of bacon
2 tsp Tabasco
1 tomato
4 buns

During a barbecue, a hamburger is a must. You can really go either way with this dish. For example, try making your own Rib Eye Cheeseburger. It starts by cutting 600 grams of ribeye (four burgers) into small strips and then into small pieces. After this, you can season with 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce and some pepper. Next, you can shape the burgers appropriately.

Add 1 onion and bacon to the barbecue yourself. Leave this on the barbecue for about six minutes, flipping it around every three minutes. You can cut the four buns in half and also put them on the barbecue for a while. Wash the cabbage lettuce well and cut it into shreds for on the burgers. Also cut the tomato into slices so you can add them to the burgers with the shredded lettuce.

Finally, grill the burgers on the barbecue for two minutes and for some extra flavour you can add tabasco. To finish it off, put a slice of Cheddar cheese on the burger for two minutes.

Now you can enjoy a homemade Rib Eye cheeseburger!

Dish #2 Marinated salmon fillet
Ingredients:
3 cloves of garlic
4 tbsp ketjap manis
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
4 salmon fillets
1 tsp sambal oelek
1 tbsp light brown soft sugar
4 tbsp olive oil

Fish lovers can also indulge when it comes to barbecue. The marinated salmon fillet is highly recommended. Here, you first make your own delicious marinade of garlic, soy sauce, oil, vinegar and brown sugar. Also add sambal and salt and place the salmon fillets in the marinade for an hour. Turn the fillets over several times.

After an hour, take the salmon out of the marinade and let it drain. After this, you can start grilling the salmon for six minutes. Turn the salmon regularly and brush with the marinade. To finish it off, you can add a slice of lemon.

Dish #3 A delicious fresh barbecue salad
Ingredients:
1 advocado
1/2 cucumber
5 radishes
8 cherry tomatoes
1/2 orange
1 red onion
2 tablespoons white vinegar
3 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh mint

If you are not a meat lover yourself, you can easily alternate these dishes with a fresh salad, for example.

Start by slicing cucumber, tomatoes and radishes. A tip here is to use a fork to draw stripes over the cucumber so that the dressing absorbs well into it. Next, chop a red onion and peel the orange and add these to the tomato and cucumber mixture.

Now you can start making the delicious dressing. To do this, use a bowl and add a couple of spoonfuls of olive oil. Furthermore, add two tablespoons of white vinegar and a big scoop of honey. You can season the dressing to your liking with salt and pepper. Then mix the dressing through the mixture of tomatoes and cucumbers. Tip: add fine pieces of fresh mint and garnish with advocado to finish.

Now you can put the salad in the fridge so that the dressing absorbs well. Enjoy!

Court #4 Roasted marshmallows
Ingredients:
1 bag of marshmallows
Pack of long skewers

Want to make barbecuing fun for the kids, too? Then toasted marshmallows are a good idea. Prick a marshmallow on a long skewer and let the kids hold it over the barbecue. The trick is to turn the marshmallow regularly. When the outside is slightly discoloured, the marshmallow is ready. Be careful though, because inside the toasted marshmallows can be very hot.
