Swimming facilities at Le Val de Bonnal Campsite
Le Val de Bonnal is a veritable paradise for water lovers! With its unique rocks, splash park and fabulous slides, this amazing swimming pool complex is guaranteed to give you hours and hours of fun! The soft pool floor is ideal for the little ones. There are also four lakes on this estate. The first lake is perfect for swimming, pedals and boat rides, and there is even a beach! Unfortunately no fishing is permitted in the lakes since 2017. However, fishing is allowed in the river but a permit is required for this. Tip: It only takes an hour to walk around the four lakes, so go ahead and enjoy the lovely natural surroundings while doing so!

The atmosphere at Le Val de Bonnal Campsite is warm and friendly and there's always something to do here! The campsite’s entertainment crew tirelessly organises lots of fun activities, including the kids club in the mornings and sports activities in the afternoons, such as cycling and canoeing, followed by a picnic! Next to the campsite is a good restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty meal. The campsite terrace overlooks the estate and affords a beautiful view of its spacious grounds. In peak season the campsite organises a disco twice a week, which is very popular with teenagers. Walking or cycling around the lakes is highly recommended, as is a canoe trip on the River Ognon, which flows alongside the campsite. You will be taken to the starting point and have two to four hours to canoe back to the campsite.
Places of interest around Le Val de Bonnal Campsite
The campsite is located near the town of Bonnal. A little further away on the other side of a forest is Rougemont. Set in beautiful, rural surroundings, this campsite is the ideal choice for those of you who love hiking, cycling and exploring villages! There are lots of interesting places to visit in the area, including Besançon and the Citadel of Vauban. With its 10-kilometre long wall, towers and fortifications, this magnificent citadel is listed as a World Heritage site. Other interesting towns in the vicinity are Vesoul, Montbéliard and the old town of Belfort. For those of you who enjoy being active, Le Val de Bonnal has several tree climbing adventure courses. Thienans and Montenois have excellent tree climbing facilities and there is also a great adventure course with a zip line over the river! Tip: Spend a day boating on the Doubs River and sail through the underground passage. A truly unique experience!
