Then Marvilla Parks ' campsite La Marina de Canet is a good choice. Located in Canet-en-Roussillon near Perpignan, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea, this campsite is particularly suitable for families with younger children.

Two fun swimming pools

There is no shortage of swimming fun when you and your family stay at this campsite. Camping La Marina de Canet consists of two clear areas: Les Peupliers and Le Bosquet. Both areas have a nice swimming pool. La Marina de Canet has a 300 m2 swimming pool with fun slides and a separate children's pool with a small slide for the little ones. Since a few years, this pool has been further expanded with a long slide and a pool that can be heated and covered in bad weather. You can relax in the balneo area and on the sun beds around the pool. In the back part of the campsite is a playfully laid-out pool for toddlers, and the kids will have fun with the mushroom fountain, while you can chill out in the sun on the loungers.

The wonderful beach of Le Sardinal

Are you a beach lover? Camping La Marina de Canet is the place to be! Just a 10-minute walk away is the wonderful Le Sardinal beach, where you can enjoy the sun and various water sports such as surfing. Want to discover more? South of Canet, at Plage Sud, you'll find two nice beach bars with loungers and opposite is a large lake full of birds and flamingos, perfect for a visit. Note: kitesurfing is only possible towards St Cyprien.

For families who don't want to sit still on holiday, there is plenty to do at La Marina de Canet campsite. Play football or basketball on the multi-purpose sports ground. Little ones can have fun in the playground. In high season, the campsite's enthusiastic entertainment team provides fun daytime and evening activities. There are also regular theme, dance and karaoke evenings.

Discover Canet-en-Roussillon and the surrounding area

A little train runs from La Marina de Canet, Les Peupliers and Le Bosquet campsite to the centre of Canet-en-Roussillon. Want to spend a day in the centre of Canet? There are several ways to do so. By car, you can drive around the port in about 7 kilometres, ideal if you want to do some shopping at Lidl. But a much nicer option is to walk or cycle via the beach to the north side of the port. There you can take the ferry that takes you across for just €0.50 per person (bikes allowed).
Once in the centre of Canet, enjoy the cosy atmosphere, with plenty of restaurants and bars. End your visit with a leisurely stroll along the promenade and taste the lively ambience of this coastal town.

In Canet, markets are held three times a week at different locations. For a really big farmers' market, head to Saint-Laurent, 10 kilometres north of Canet. Here, twice a week, there is a lively market with a wide range of fresh produce.

Furthermore, there are many fun attractions and outings within an hour's drive from the campsite such as go-karting, paintballing or a day trip to Perpignan, the medieval town of Villefranche-de-Conflant, Figueres and the villages of Collioure and St Cyprien.
