Camping on Elba, with a pool
The pool on camping Rosselba le Palme is arranged over different levels. There is a pool with slides, waterfalls and a separate children's pool with a soft base. You can relax and enjoy the sun and the breathtaking views from the pool. You can walk to the local, private pebble beach, which is accessed via a steep stairway, in about 15 minutes. There are plenty of diving and snorkelling opportunities in the many bays around Elba too. Since 2021 there is a new wellness where you can relax.

The professional entertainment team will do all it can to keep your children amused so that parents can enjoy a relaxing, carefree holiday too. And you'll create fantastic memories at the friendly disco evenings. Camping Elba also offers archery, (table) tennis, volleyball and basketball. You could also engage a personal trainer to put you through your paces in the fitness centre, or skip the gym and focus on excursions into the natural environment. In the botanical garden, you'll find tropical plants and palm trees from across the world.
You can enjoy a lovely meal out while the kids play in the Baby Village The mini market at Camping Rosselba le Palme provides fresh, local products from local farms. Discover Elba!
Along with the islands of Capraia, Giglio, Giannutri, Montecristo and Pianosa, Elba belongs to the Parco Nazionale dell Arcipelago Toscano nature reserve. If you take the ferry from Piombino in Tuscany, to the port city of Portoferraio, you'll find yourself in the largest city in Elba. Here, you can shop 'til you drop and then catch your breath on one of the many terraces. It's also the location of one of the most famous structures in Elba, Napoleon's house Villa dei Mulini. Napoleon was exiled to Elba in 1814. Make sure you also visit Forte Stella, Forte Falcone and Forte Inglese. Further outside the city, there is his old summer residence, Villa di San Martino.
The most well-known mountain on Elba is Monte Capanne, which can be reached by cable-car from Marciana. On a clear day, you can even see Corsica! You can also reach the summit via walking routes. Along the way, you could see over 200 different species of fungi and beautiful, delicate violets.
Ferry to Elba
You can fly into Elba. If you come by car to Camping Rosselba le Palme, we advise you to take the ferry to Elba, from Piombino. There are several departures every day. The boat will take you to the city of Portoferraio on Elba within an hour.
